The infield was recently upgraded to crushed limestone, which allows for a higher water intake, limiting rain delays.

Parks & Recreation Department provides the ability to view and reserve Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Open Fields. Plus the ability to use Basketball, Volleyball and Gyms in our Recreation Centers.

Ballard Ballfield is one of Lincoln Parks & Recreation premier baseball and softball fields. Maintenance is scheduled at least twice per week during peak use. Rental Fee: $22 per hour

The playing area is divided into the infield and the outfield. The infield is made up of dirt and extends to 70 ft from the center of the pitcher’s mound.
