By volunteering, you'll help provide essential services to overcome medical, legal, mental health, and substance use challenges.
9 Αυγ 2024 · Hundreds of volunteers are working through the weekend to provide services for veterans experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing at the annual Veterans Village Stand Down.
29 Ιουλ 2022 · This will be the 35th Stand Down organized by VVSD and will provide three-days and 2-overnights of shelter, respite, and comprehensive services including meals, community support, medical, legal, employment, housing referrals, and benefits counseling services. Stand Down is being held at a new location this year.
20 Ιουλ 2023 · The San Diego Sheriff’s Department’s Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) will provide: Education for veterans on resources like food, housing, job programs, substance abuse counseling and mental health services.
