A PATS incode refers to a security code used in the Ford Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS). The system is designed to prevent unauthorized starting of the vehicle by ensuring that only a properly programmed key can start the engine.

You will need the original five-digit keyless entry code. You can find it printed on the owner’s wallet card in the glove compartment or through one of the other methods here.
