Consumer Attorneys of California was founded as the California Plaintiff Trial Lawyers Association on April 8, 1961, in Palm Springs. The name was later shortened to California Trial Lawyers Association, and in 1995 it was changed to Consumer Attorneys of California.
Majeski was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1989 by the American Board of Trial Advocates and was elected to the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California in 1995 and was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2002 by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
11 Ιαν 2024 · His complaint alleged the California State Bar violated both federal and state disability statutes. A federal trial court dismissed his action. The Ninth Circuit affirmed, holding that the State Bar enjoys Eleventh Amendment protection in federal court.
Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. The Litigation Section seeks nominations for the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. These awards are bestowed upon attorneys who have excelled as trial lawyers and whose careers exemplify the highest values and professional attainment. The nomination period is now closed.
State Trial Lawyer Associations. AAJ's Council of Presidents (COP) includes the Presidents, Presidents-Elect, and Immediate Past Presidents of every state and provincial Trial Lawyer Association (TLA). COP is a forum for members to discuss the unique experience of leading a TLA.
The California Lawyers Association (CLA) is a statewide, voluntary bar association for California legal professionals, headquartered in Sacramento.
