We show original paintings, collage, photography, textiles, pottery, printmaking, sculpture, mixed and multi-media works. As Callanwolde is an educational institution, the Gallery offers workshops, artist talks, and interactive presentations about contemporary art during community events and school field trips.
As shown in the photos below, these pipes are accessed through chambers in the walls and attic of the mansion. Notice the floor below the chimes in the photo on the far right — it is the pierced tracery ornament in the ceiling above the grand staircase.
7 Σεπ 2021 · Eight buildings on the Callanwolde campus are studios; there are 24 potter’s wheels and even a refurbished barn that serves as a professional photography darkroom. Giddis described Callanwolde as a space where art’s happening all around: “You make it and then you also show it!”
30 Οκτ 2018 · Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Druid Hills looks like a home plucked from a storybook. Henry Hornbostel, responsible for the Williamsburg Bridge in New York, designed the Tudor revival-style home completed in 1920.

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit community arts center that offers classes and workshops for all ages in visual, literary and performing arts. Special performances, gallery exhibits, outreach programs and fundraising galas are presented throughout the year.
19 Αυγ 2024 · Callanwolde is the main house on the Charles Howard Candler estate, designed by Henry Hornbostel of New York and Pittsburg. It was built during the years 1917 - 21; it is a severe and modern approach to the late Gothic Revival style.
