Online Payslips. The University's Employee Self-Service (ESS) system enables employees to view and download payslips online. Further details of ESS and the log-in page can be found on the HR Systems web pages.
The lead applicant is required to confirm that their employee salary is at or below spine point 61 on the University pay scale and that the household income (combined salary and income) is below £80,000 pa.
Employee Self-service enables staff to: Supply HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) personal data. View and download online payslips. Add or amend contact details. Start receiving email notification of payslip availability. View absence data. View changes made through the ESS system. View P60. You will need a Raven password to access ESS.
You can access ESS securely here: http://www.hr.admin.cam.ac.uk/ess. Benefits of online payslips include: From a web browser, the employee can access both current and historical (since June 2008) pay slips online, at work or in their own home.
