Registration. Pre-registration is required. Complete the on-line registration form a minimum of one week in advance of the start of the course. Register early to assure a seat in the desired course. All registrations must be approved by the requesting agency’s Chief or Designee.

Training: 26 weeks at Camden County Police Academy. Requirements. Before being hired, applicants must: • Be a high school graduate • Possess a New Jersey drivers license • Pass a background check • Pass a psychological examination • Pass a medical and drug screening. APPLY NOW
The police academy has an intensive regimented physical training component that requires recruits to exercise most days of the academy and has a mandatory PTC physical fitness standards test that must be passed by the recruit.
