If you are NOT an employee, Amazon's DSPP (DRIP where you don't need to already own a share to join) charges $5 per single transaction, $2.50 for recurring, automatic transactions. I only make large ($500+ buys) to minimize the fee to 1%.
So I left Amazon and I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to access all that Amazon stock I purchased with the employee stock program. Anybody got a website I can go to access it that doesn't require a working employee log in?
You can buy stocks from other platforms, not just the Direct Stock Purchase Plan (DSPP). I originally did buy it through them but decided to buy from other platforms like robinhood and fidelity instead.
