There are two options for early voting in Alabama: 1. In-Person Absentee Voting: Voters can cast their ballot in person at their county’s absentee election manager’s office between 5 to 7 days before the election.
21 Οκτ 2024 · While Alabama doesn’t have early voting, the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Oct. 29. You can print it out and find where to mail it by going to alabamavotes.gov. Jones said they are urging lawmakers to take action and bring early voting to the state during the 2025 Legislative Session.

But if you apply for and receive an absentee ballot, you can hand-deliver it before the close of business on Monday, Nov. 4. Voting at the polls: Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bring an approved form of ID, such as a valid Alabama driver’s license or U.S. passport.
