Canebrake Horse Camp. Area Status: Open. Canebrake Horse Camp has 28 sites with parking spurs for horse trailers. Four of these sites are double camp sites. Each site has a picnic table, grill, fire ring, lantern post, tie posts, tack tables, and electrical hookups. Up to two vehicles are allowed at each site.
Canebrake Horse Camp is located in the Uwharrie Ranger District, National Forests in North Carolina (1 hr east of Concord, NC) with an elevation of 469 feet. There are a total of 28 campsites. The campground is open all year.
