18 Ιουλ 2016 · Proximally, the radius articulates with the ulna along its caudal border, which rests within a corresponding concavity in the ulna called the radial notch. Distally, the ulna similarly articulates with the radius along its medial cortex, where it rests within the ulnar notch.
Veterinary anatomy. In the dog and pig, there is a ulnar notch on the lateral side of the radial styloid process, that is a concave surface for articulation with the ulna.

Elbow Anatomy. The cubital or elbow joint is a hinge joint made by the articulation of the radial head, humeral capitulum (articulates with the radial head), humeral trochea (articulates with the ulna), and the ulnar articulation surface (coronoid, semi ulnar notch and coronoid).
