18 Ιουν 2015 · Yesterday, all of a sudden tethering stopped and I got a message "camera not detected". I tried EOS Utility as well and looks like the system doesn't recognize my camera anymore. I can't find the driver in device manager. When I connect the camera to PC, nothing happens, no prompt to install driver or anything.
I have a 5D Mk II and an omen laptop running Windows 11 and I have all 3 versions of EOS Utility downloaded and up to date. I am trying to use my computer to take remote shots but my camera won't show up on my computer at all when connected through the mini usb.
Solution. This section describes how to connect the camera to a computer when importing images to the computer or specifying the camera settings from the computer. Before connecting the camera to a computer, please install the EOS Utility software from the EOS Digital Solution Disk included with your camera.
