Canvas Parent: Available for both Android and iOS, this app is designed for you to engage in your child(ren)'s education and view assignments, events, and grades. There is a simple interface that allows Observers to easily switch between children.

Once in Canvas, they will click on their account (circle with silhouette or photo) and click QR for Mobile Login. This will generate a QR code that is valid for 10 minutes. The parent can scan the QR code from their Canvas Parent app.
Parents can sign up as an observer in Canvas. Observers can link their Canvas account to their student's account so they can see assignment due dates, announcements, and other course content. Observers can view the course content but cannot participate in the course.
Rockwood Online is using Canvas to help bring the classroom into the homes of families this fall. More than 250 Rockwood teachers and staff members worked during the summer to build a robust online curriculum that all district students will access through the Canvas learning management system.
