Captain Marvel is a 2019 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. It is the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the ninth installment of Phase Three. The film was released on March 8, 2019.
However, despite their first attempt at finding the Infinity Stones failing, Captain Marvel returned to Earth in 2023 when the Avengers had just succeeded with their second attempt to resurrect the victims of the Snap and assisted them during their fight against an alternate Thanos and his army.
