Parade Participants meet at the California Family Fitness parking lot (on the corner of Palm and Fair Oaks) to walk the two-mile parade route to the Carmichael Elks Lodge (Cypress Ave.).

A community tradition since 1959, the celebrations is orchestrated by Carmichael Elks. District 3 Supervisor Rich Desmond is Grand Marshal this year.

parade starts at 10:30 am. 2 mile route starting from: the corner of fair oaks blvd and marconi ave, sacramento ending at: elks lodge #2103 5631 cypress ave carmichael ca 95608. upon completion: there is a “free” bbq , swimming, dancing with a live band, kids games etc at the carmichael elks lodge #2103 to all parade participants.

Grand Marshal was Dave Kovar, a local business leader whose martial arts students have provided a high-kicking pageant contingent for many years.
