The Ohio Fire Code (OFC) establishes the minimum standards for fire safety in the State of Ohio. By law, the OFC is promulgated by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal (SFM).
7 Ιουλ 2005 · The fire code official is authorized to require more than one fire apparatus access road based on the potential for impairment of a single road by vehicle congestion, condition of terrain, climatic conditions or other factors that could limit access.
Fire apparatus access roads shall be in accordance with this appendix and all other applicable requirements of the International Fire Code.
7 Ιουλ 2001 · Approved fire apparatus access roads shall be provided for every facility, building or portion of a building hereafter constructed or moved into or within the jurisdiction which are not readily accessible from a public and/or private street.

7 Ιουλ 2001 · The rules of the state fire marshal as set forth in Chapter 1301:7-7- of the Administrative Code shall be known as the "Ohio Fire Code" abbreviated "OFC", and hereinafter in such rule may also be referred to as the "state fire code" or "this code."
A complete copy of the Ohio Fire Code and Life Safety Code as adopted herein shall be kept on file with the Fire Prevention Bureau established under this Chapter for inspection by the public.
