Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance program provides help with rent, utilities and car repair to residents of the Diocese of Arlington who are facing a temporary financial emergency.
Some of the most vulnerable among us — families, seniors, veterans, the chronically homeless and more — receive Catholic Charities services such as emergency shelter, temporary housing and long-term housing with social support.
If you’ve hit a challenging circumstance that has affected your ability to pay rent or utilities, we may be able to help. Please note that there are requirements to qualify for rent or utility assistance, and all assistance is assessed in person on a case-by-case basis when funding is available.
The financial help from a Catholic Charity church or parish will often include money to help pay rent, utility bills or housing costs as well as free vouchers. Or get free food, meals or holiday assistance. People of all faiths can get support. Find help from a Catholic Charities in your area.
Catholic Charities’ (CCDA) Emergency Assistance program helps people experiencing a temporary financial crisis with rent and/or utility assistance and there is a likelihood that this crisis will not repeat. We work to prevent evictions or the termination of essential utilities.
