10 Νοε 2021 · The Giant Crystal Cave, also known as the Cave of the Crystals, is a horse-shaped cave beneath the Sierra de Naica in Chihuahua, Mexico. The cave was discovered in 2000 by miners who were drilling for fresh ore deposits.
The cave is connected to the Naica Mine, a mine that sits at over 950 feet in Chihuahua, Mexico. Since its discovery by the mining company Industrias Peñoles, the subterranean chamber has drawn researchers from around the world, enticing them with both rare beauty and scientific mystery.
