11 Αυγ 2022 · It just saves in the Desktop folder but it is not seen on my Desktop. Windows states my updates were "successfully installed." I am operating Windows 10 and (if it helps) these are the updates that were added just prior to my desktop icons disappearing after the update restart of my laptop: Quality Updates.
I just installed the 21H1 update, followed by the KB5003214 and KN5003252 updates. Now the Date, Time and other icons such as Volume, Wifi etc are all missing from the Taskbar (usually on the right-hand end).
