Click Clock Options, then choose how you want the date and time displayed. Below Date, click the “Show date” pop-up menu, then choose either Always, When Space Allows, or Never.
On your Mac, add widgets to the desktop or Notification Center so you can keep tabs on your schedule, favorite devices, the weather, top headlines, and more. To open Notification Center, click the date and time in the menu bar or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of the trackpad.
