11 Απρ 2021 · How do I restore the Yahoo Desk Top Icon in Windows 10. I have the Book Windows 10 for Dummies Seniors Edition and the Directions down match the Computers Instructions.
I just installed the 21H1 update, followed by the KB5003214 and KN5003252 updates. Now the Date, Time and other icons such as Volume, Wifi etc are all missing from the Taskbar (usually on the right-hand end).
I've set up my clock in the system tray to show both time and date. But after a recent update the date is completely gone. I can only see time now. I checked the settings, they are exactly the same as before. I didn't touch anything.

If you run through Windows Update (or in my case an Upgrade to Windows 10 1903) and find all of your desktop icons are missing this is the fix for you:. Verify your desktop icons still exist by checking in C:\USERS\<YourName>\DESKTOP .
