Fire Safe South Carolina supports local fire departments by serving their citizens through strategic community risk reduction and fire safety programs.
To replace section 508.5.1 of the International Fire Code with section 603.1.3.1 and 603.1.3.2 of the 1997 Standard Fire Prevention Code.
The fire inspectors inspect residential, public and commercial buildings for compliance with fire and life safety codes and ordinances, prepare inspection reports and manage complaints and maintains inspection records. A fire department plan review process is in place to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
