Chestnut Ridge State Park. Located in the town of Orchard Park, NY is a 1,213-acre park named ever so cleverly after the chestnut trees that live on its hills.
Trails, swings, picnic areas, Disc (Frisbee) Golf, sledding, and tobogganing in the winter, there is so much to do in this park. About a mile south is the beginning of the trail to the Eternal Flame (Burning Springs)...a nature gas leak behind a waterfall that is usually already lit.
