6 Σεπ 2024 · This new reissue on Blu-ray Audio disc from Rhino records contains the original stereo mix, the original 1970s Quadraphonic mix last reissued on Blu-ray Audio as part of the Chicago Quadio box set, and a new Dolby Atmos mix. Just wanna pop in to say the Atmos is a winner.
31 Αυγ 2024 · Received my Blu-ray today and will give my two cents when I have time to listen. I’ll be listening to the Atmos on a 5.1 system. I’ll check out the quad mix and the hirez stereo too. Also received the Bowie Ziggy Stardust blu-ray.
22 Δεκ 2019 · The Chicago Concert BluRay with Earth, Wind and Fire looks and sounds fantastic. They play together at the end which I got a kick out of. Looks like they each were "fighting" for the big lights.
6 Σεπ 2024 · Sounds a bit similar to the ball-less stereo and single versions. The Quad and 5.1 versions are ballsier, especially the 5.1. (Quad version could use about -2 dB bass cut.) However, this Atmos version sounds really good when CRANKED absurdly. Very nice. Lead vocals seem a bit too loud in comparison to the music and backing vocals.
31 Αυγ 2024 · Last week I was in a Chicago mood. Happens a couple of times a year. More than any of the 60's - 70's bands. g.z., JeffMo and JBEE like this. I picked this up and I'm enjoying it. Used to have this comp on cassette back in the day. How did these early 70s mix variations work?
