22 Μαΐ 2023 · The game will crash on startup if you have more than 16 cores. It use to work for me, I added a 2nd CPU on my motherboard, never could play again. I recently upgraded to at 24 cores i9-13900k, still won't launch. Fortunately, there are ways to make the app think that you have fewer cores.
6 ημέρες πριν · Select Manage settings. > 7. Under Exclusions, click Add or Remove exclusions. > 8. Add an exclusion (select the Sky Children of the Light folder in your Steam directory (ie. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sky Children of the Light). There is a slight difference between Windows 10 and Windows 11.
15 Απρ 2024 · The reason Sky: Children of the Light crashes at launch is because of your Windows Defender Firewall settings. You need to manually add the game to the list of allowed apps.
What happens: when I launch the game, a white screen appears, the cursor changes to the Child of Light-style cursor, then the program immediately closes with no warning.
