I recently upgraded to at 24 cores i9-13900k, still won't launch. Fortunately, there are ways to make the app think that you have fewer cores.
Windows would no longer start and in safe mode I could not access msconfig again. After a few hours I just let windows boot normally: it took several hours for windows to actually boot but then I was able to change msconfig back to auto.
