31 Αυγ 2012 · I'm using Google Chrome version 21.0.1180.89 m (on Windows 7). The problem is that I installed an anti-virus program that accidentally changed the home page (I didn't uncheck the option). Now every time I open a new tab, it goes to the web search of the anti-virus package.
Close all your Chrome windows, reopen one tab (it will still crash). Leave it open for 5 minutes, close the tab, and reopen up -- should open as per normal now. It worked for me.

I think it's annoying that I can't have it as a tab, especially in terms of multitasking, etc. How can I force this web app to be in a tab?
