29 Ιουν 2012 · Thinner or Thinning Citori Recoil Pad. I have a Browning Citori XS Skeet that I suspect has a tad too long of an LOP and am wondering if there is a fairly simple way to test it with a thinner pad. I would like to avoid having the stock cut until I am certain it is necessary.

15 Αυγ 2024 · Recoil pads are designed to absorb the shock and kickback from firing a shotgun, making the overall shooting experience much more enjoyable and less painful. One of the main reasons why recoil pads are necessary is for reducing felt recoil.
10 Φεβ 2022 · For me with a Browning shotgun there are two options that I like. 1. The hard butt plate I just showed you, but it's not something you want to shoot a lot of without a heavy hunting coat on. 2. The Pads similar to what you have. You can get the Browning branded ones, or go with the Pachmayr White line pads.
8 Ιουν 2020 · My trap guns have the Browning curved recoil pads on them. I like them. That curve finds its way to the sweet spot in my shoulder. Not sure what kind of pad is on a CXT. XT's, Special Traps and BT-99 have the same pad. At least mine do. I have a Microcell coming for a Citori Sporting Clay.
5 Ιαν 2023 · The only pads I found listed for the Citori on Numrich are for the adjustable mounts, and the factory recoil reducer. Gun manufacturers rarely list recoil pads as direct replacement parts. Most people, particularly Trap shooters, will buy an upgrade pad (Kick-eez, Microcell, etc.)
23 Αυγ 2012 · The very best recoil absorbing pad on the market is a "Trap Dude" gooey. They do have draw-backs....like poor durability, everything they touch sticks to them (including your shoulder, they won't slide around).
