Inspection reports for residential rental properties, as well as residential properties being bought or sold, are available online. The inspection report will typically be available within 24 hours of the inspection.
Residential Housing Inspection Reports. To receive a free Residential Housing Inspection Report for a City of Dearborn residential property the following input fields are required: 1) Street Number - you are not required to enter the complete street number address.
The inspection report is created electronically and will be available on the city website after 5 p.m. on the inspection day. After submitting an application with payment, City staff will contact the applicant to establish and schedule an appointment for the inspection.

Inspection reports are valid for 1 year from the date of the first inspection. Please email City of Dearborn staff for more information on the status of a rental inspection and timing: DBNRentals@dearborn.gov.
