Olathe residential and commercial customers can schedule a curbside pick-up of large or bulky items on their scheduled trash collection day. To schedule a bulk waste pick-up, sign in to your Online Utility Billing Account and select the "Manage Services" option, or call customer service at 913-971-9311 .
Recycling is picked up bi-weekly on the same day as trash service. Residential customers can help ensure a smooth collection process by following these guidelines: Place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. on designated collection day. Point arrows on the cart toward the street.

Marina parking lot at Kill Creek Park, 1 1670 Homestead Lane, Olathe. Parking lot at Big Bull Creek Park, 20425 Sunflower Road, Edgerton. Trees will be collected at all four sites during regular winter park hours, which are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., except at Shawnee Mission Park, which opens at 6 a.m. in the winter.
Register for programs and activities, reserve park shelters or party rental spaces, and purchase Splash Passes and Olathe Community Center memberships by visiting OlatheKS.gov/OlatheActive, calling 913-971-8563, or visiting the Olathe Community Center in person.
