30 Μαρ 2024 · The Sierra Help site (not an official Sierra site) has repackaged the original patch into a format compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 for 64-bit machines. It's the last patch on the page. Simply download, extract and follow the install instructions. You would install this in your Civil War Generals 2 game folder.
9 Σεπ 2014 · The new and long awaited patch 1.04 is now available through the game launcher. If you have any issue updating the game, you can post here. Here is also the actual patch file, if you prefer this method: ftp://ftp.us.matrixgames.com/pub/CivilWarII/CivilWarII-UpdateComp-v104.zip. Here is the changelog:
Alternatively, you can download the file here which is what I did, (but obligatory, downloading DLLs from the internet comes with some risks, but this one seems fine). You have to place that .dll I’m the C:\WINDOWS\System32 AND in the C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 folder.
