Plot and print the shape of an airfoil (aerofoil) for your specific chord width and transformation. The dat file data can either be loaded from the airfoil database or your own airfoils which can be entered here and they will appear in the list of airfoils in the form below.

If you are designing on paper then it’s easier to just print the airfoil plot. If you are designing in CAD I’d recommend the profile generator tool for Onshape. It’s free and has a massive database of airfoils available.
25 Οκτ 2011 · You can use the tabulated ordinate method to draw a Clark Y airfoil by hand, or use TurboCAD for the drafting task. You can then use TurboCAD to draw additional versions of the finished Clark Y wing rib shape for any length wing rib your model aircraft design requires.

2 Σεπ 2017 · I thought I would share the way I designed a completely flat bottom Clark Y type airfoil. I need this airfoil for my French 1/2A "Piaf" model designed by Patrick Nicolas. As you can see on this drawing from 1979 published in the French "Modèle Magazine" , the shape of the airfoil is approximate.
31 Ιουλ 2006 · Hi - I'm looking at designing a stick-fuselage plane with no dihedral for rudder / elevator / ailerons to allow for somewhat slow speeds, but also decent aerobatic capability too. I'd like to find, if possible, a dxf or dwg format Clark Y airfoil so I can modify it to suit the wing I'm designing. Anyone know where I might find such a file?
