The case information displayed on OCIS 2.0 is case information entered by the respective court clerks into the respective case management systems (CMS). The Office of the Executive Secretary (OES) of the Supreme Court of Virginia is the administrative office for Virginia's Judicial System and provides the technology support to operate CMS.

The circuit court case information displayed on this System is case information entered by the respective circuit court clerks into the Circuit Case Management System (“CCMS”). By law, the circuit clerks are the custodians of the records.
Circuit Court On-Line Case Search. NOTE: There is no statewide search option for circuit court cases in Virginia. Many circuit courts in Virgnia either do not use an online case information system or use a different online system.
