Climate Pledge Arena strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests attending our events by working with the Seattle Fire Department, Seattle Police Department and other professional agencies to develop effective emergency plans and procedures.
The naming rights for Climate Pledge Arena were secured through a partnership between Amazon, Oak View Group, and Seattle Kraken. It is the first net zero carbon certified arena in the world and harnesses the power of sports and entertainment to inspire change on the climate crises.
Climate Pledge Arena is located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, which is served by King County Metro bus service from surrounding areas, including Queen Anne Hill and Downtown Seattle. The RapidRide D Line and other routes provide frequent service between the arena's west side and Downtown Seattle.
25 Ιουν 2020 · The Climate Pledge commitment will extend to all parts of the new arena's offerings, including locally sourced food, beer and wine and zero waste for all events.
2 Νοε 2021 · In 2023, Climate Pledge Arena was the first arena in the world to achieve Zero Carbon Certification from the ILFI, a global nonprofit that uses strict, data-based standards to determine carbon neutrality.
