4 Μαρ 2021 · Cloth Config API is a mod that allows mods who use it as a dependency to have an in-game config screen just like the good old days. Despite having been downloaded over 5.4 million times, it only has 16 mods that implement it as a dependency. It seems almost criminal how little it has been utilized.

16 Αυγ 2022 · Not just "it doesn't work". The crash report. Crash reports can be found in .minecraft -> crash-reports. If you've already provided this info, you can ignore this message. If you have Optifine installed then it probably caused your problem. Try some of these mods instead, which are properly designed for Fabric. Thanks!

14 Ιουν 2021 · Crashing on 1.17 (Reason: Cloth config, cloth api or architectury) Crash report. Ok, so i have been getting this crash when using the mods specified in the title, and i dont know what else could be causing it. Fixed by removing optifine. It looks like there's some kind of conflict between Optifine and Architectury.
16 Ιουλ 2022 · When you install cloth config make sure you aren't downloading from the first link that is closest to the top, but are going to the files tab and installing from either the fabric or forge versions. I had this exact issue and only realized that I had installed the file inteaded for forge instead of fabric.
14 Μαΐ 2023 · Sorry I missed the part where you had tried some versions. I think you might have to upgrade your versions the only cloth 4.8+ versions i can see are for 1.16. You could try posting on the issue tracker and see what the mod author says.
28 Αυγ 2021 · try cloth config version 5.0.0 instead of 5.0.38. the ~ in front of the version refers to "only 5.0.0" whereas a >= refers to "greater or equals than". if it's not available, you might want to compile it yourself with a different version number.
6 Ιουν 2024 · Guys after some mental tinkering i found out you can just go on game versions, and download there the correct version, via the mod browser you can only download the most recent one, for you to get the most recent of your versions, you can just go there lol. hope this helps you all if this problem arises for you too
19 Οκτ 2023 · can someone help me figure out why LevelZ is saying I need cloth-config2 installed, I have both the fabric and forge versions in my modpack, is this mod just not usable when running fabric mods on forge via connector?
