21 Ιαν 2021 · I already knew that you recommend using outlet power, but the Roku support site specifically says that it can be plugged into a TV's USB port. The purpose of my post was to get a better understanding of the various pros and cons to doing so (obviously assuming the USB port can power the Roku).
The Roku Ultra isn't powered by USB, but uses a barrel-jack connector. The Express units do use USB power, and they ship with a 1A USB power supply. If you're using a USB-to-Ethernet adapter with an Express 4K, it's likely you need a more powerful supply too.
