17 Δεκ 2008 · Dug out my old Coleman 425f and cleaned 'er up last night. Been years since I used it. I replaced the pump parts but when I lit the burner, I got nothing but a high yellow flame...this continued for 10 minutes and with multiple attempts re-light it.

24 Μαΐ 2016 · I bought a used 425 stove in overall decent shape. It lights easily and most of the time settles down to a blue flame quickly. Lately though it's taking longer for the tall yellow flame to calm down, and seems to be random or a function of fiddling with the valve knob to get it to do so.
This will cause a large yellow flame at the burner. For either stove, the solution is to run a small bottle or gun-cleaning brush or some pipe cleaners up inside the tube to dislodge the blockage and then to blow the Bunsen or tube clear.
9 Απρ 2012 · Anyways put new fuel in and lifted leaver for cold start and stove starts up but quickly yellow flames. And will not warm up and settle down to a blue flame. Noticed as well when the fuel is turned off it just burns and burns.

8 Σεπ 2023 · If you're getting large/yellow flames then 99% of the time it's one of two things: 1) carbon buildup in the generator rod or 2) an insect nest or other debris in the mixing chamber that the generator rod slides into.
16 Αυγ 2015 · My 425 had a yellow flame popping out of the generator all the time. I tightened up the tip of the generator per advice on here, and the flame went away. If it got taken off for cleaning, maybe the cap didn't get tightened up all the way?
