6 Οκτ 2014 · COLTROCK appearance is similar to COLTWOOD but there is more visible fiber in the former, a bit more of a red shade that can be seen better on a smooth back of a COLTROCK grip. Apparently COLTROCK was used to make a lot of products until it proved to be far too brittle for any practical use.

8 Ιουλ 2017 · The Coltrock grips didn't last long--they turned brittle quickly. I agree the magazine is likely correct. Also, in spite of Clawson's uncanny accuracy on almost everything else, he got it wrong on the transition from blue to parkerized finish.
