This code is referred to as "The Konami Code", "The Contra Code", or simply "The Code"
On the title screen you should be able to input the code “up up down down left right left right B A start” when the game starts it should say 30x lives. Here’s the thing - the ABXY buttons may not be mapped exactly A=A and B=B to the NES controller, so the code may be either of the following:
Contra (NES) 30 Lives - Entering the code at the title screen (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, and Start) gives the player 30 lives. If the two-player option is chosen using the select button before or after entering the code, both players will have 30 lives.
28 Φεβ 2020 · Contra (NES): Enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A then Start (or Select, Start for two players) on the title screen, and you'll get 30 extra lives. Gyruss (NES): If you enter the Konami Code in reverse order at the title screen (A, B, Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, Up), you'll get 30 extra lives.

3 Μαΐ 2020 · Contra (for the NES) code is: Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A B A before the word Contra scrolls to the title screen is finished. That'll give you 30 lives. Super C for the NES's code is: Right Left Down Up A B Start.
