28 Ιαν 2019 · When a home user woke their laptop (HP with Windows 10, Office, Defender, Chrome, a few games) this morning, it went straight to the desktop (no password prompt) and the Run command box was open with "control userpasswords2" in it. Nothing else was open.

10 Δεκ 2012 · Just found out: the control userpasswords2 practically starts the netplwiz.exe utility. So in order to start it via the GUI, just go to %windir%/system32 and there double click on netplwiz.exe.

23 Μαρ 2023 · The command 'control userpasswords2' displays a GUI that allows you to set it to where users are not required to enter a username and password to login. If you uncheck it and hit apply, it prompts you for the password of the currently selected user.
