All requests for publications, documents, forms, applications for licenses, permits and other similar certifications can be obtained by contacting the Customer Contact Center. Division of Professions Board of Cosmetology

License renewal information: To renew your Active license, submit your renewal request online and pay the renewal fee of $20. If submitted after October 31, 2023, the fee will be $45. To renew your Inactive license, submit your renewal request online and pay the renewal fee of $20.
To reapply online or obtain a retake application please visit Cosmetology - Apply For A License. Applicants must complete both portions of the examination within a two-year period from the date of the first attempt of either portion of the exam.
The Florida Board of Cosmetology requires the submission of a renewal fee of usually $45 (Not including late fees or extra service fees). Renew online at myfloridalicense.com, or call 850-487-1395. The Board states they will email your updated license once renewed.
A Florida cosmetology license is required to perform cosmetology services. If your original license has gone null and void due to non-renewal, you may qualify for licensure through this process. Application Requirements: NULL AND VOID: Allowing a license to expire because of non-renewal.
