11 Ιουν 2021 · Sett is not a mobile champion, so I'd pick something that can easily kite him (mostly his W and his E), like Akali. Kled is also a good pick imo because he can dash 2 times to avoid Sett, has gw if he lands his Q and has a lot of base health. Personally, I find it hard to lane against it, so it might be a possible counter pick.
I 1st blood sett almost every game i have that matchup. I play off of a sett players confidence in trading. Take 2 hits, then q in the wave. Auto sett, get rage and get a 2nd Q that's enraged on 3 minions + sett. I end up almost full hp and the enraged Q clears me the wave, allowing me to get W and ignite. It works almost every time.
13 Ιουν 2021 · Doran shield > Bramble vest + Steelcaps (these items paired just gives you all tools to survive Sett's early, but not true dmg, so be cleaver and walk while trading). Search for Divine surrender + BC/BOTRK to oneshot him 100-0 (optional). Champs: Melee: Something that can trade Sett and then go back (to dodge W), for example Renekton and Riven.
27 Ιαν 2020 · renekton empowered w destroys sett’s W shield, and he can dash out of it. darius has a stronger early and can be more useful than you with his r-reset mechanic in a teamfight. typically just finding something with a stronger early game than sett and/or a dash to get out of the middle of W is gonna be good enough to counter him
27 Νοε 2021 · But if sett fulls his W, he will not lose damage same as Pantheon) pantheon can just dominate lane until 6 against Sett. After that; in every phase of game, sett wins 1vs1. Also; a good sett player never uses his haymaker without E stun against pantheon. So if you think, pantheon counters Sett because of E of him, its so wrong
21 Ιαν 2022 · Sett player here! Cooldowns are long so you should use that to your advantage. Mobile champs help and the biggest counter is simply ranged champs. I have no problems poking down a sett with ranges champs. Just don't get too close. Kayle for me is always a decent pick but others would disagree. Morde can counter pretty well with q pokes
Don't mind his W. Sett imo isn't good against someone who's in his face constantly. You block all his Q dmg with E, and usually after that, you keep pounding him, untill he Ws. When he throws a W, you sidestep it, because the closer you are to him, the narrower it is.
11 Ιουν 2020 · If you listen to these comments every champ counters sett. truth be told sett doesnt have many bad matchups because at worst a good sett will go even into anything, but juggernauts who simply out damage Sett in extended trades are his worst enemy - e.g. Darius or Volibear
15 Ιαν 2020 · True, okay fair point, but Im still annoyed at the fact that you cant itemize properly against him as a tank, and that he is allowed to win every trade because he can shield for half of his hp so you cant fight him ever so i guess you just dont but that just poor champ interaction, like how do you win vs sett you just dont let him be you try to farm what u can and then scale right makes sense ...
11 Δεκ 2022 · To game counter, CC is the best option use when sett have half of his grit bar to get all the certain he Will not use w. Im a 300k mastery sett, i know what Im talking about. Sett probably have the best early game if u think u cant kill him wait until lv 7 and damange him and when he have half grit bar, wait the bar dispear.
