The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) provides emergency financial relief to students and recent graduates who are unable to work, or unable to find work, due to reasons related to COVID-19. It is also available for those who are working but not making more than $1,000 (before taxes) over the four-week period for which they are applying.

30 Σεπ 2020 · The CRA will determine how many periods of the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) you were eligible for. Your credit will be based on how many 4-week CESB periods you could have received between May 10, 2020 and August 30, 2020. Your credit will not be more than the your CERB amount owing.
6 Φεβ 2022 · As per currently available information, you will be able to apply for the benefit via CRA MyAccount starting on May 15, 2020, at 6 a.m. ET. If you do not have a CRA MyAccount, learn how to create one here. Payments will be sent out via direct deposit or cheque by the Canada Revenue Agency.
If the only way to apply for the CESB is through the CRA, then that is based on your Birth Month. If you were born in the months of January, February, or March, you can apply on Mondays. April, May, or June you can apply on Tuesdays.
If you were a student in 2020 and have been asked to repay the CERB by either the CRA or Service Canada, you may be able to get a credit towards your CERB debt. To get this credit, you must meet all the conditions.
