29 Σεπ 2020 · Politely ask the newly created clone to stand behind you 20 feet and hold the driftglobe. Cast True Polymorph on the driftglobe to change it into a creature capable of following 20 feet behind you. At your DM's discretion, it may or may not retain it's magical light producing capabilities.
Pg 141 of the DMG suggests that magic items have resistance to all damage and pg 246 offers AC and HP for objects, so maybe AC of 14ish where it's thick glass (could be higher because it's so small) and maybe 5-10 HP.

Before you blame my DM the driftglobe has an AC and so does my rope also the driftglobe is designed to be broke which is why they have a cracked driftglobe in the game. The cracked driftglobe no longer floats and follows nor does it cast daylight but it can still do the light cantrip.
