   19 Ιουν 2007 · #1 · Jun 19, 2007. I have a 69 GM block whose casting number is 3970010. The date code is L89 which matches with that cast being made late in the 69 production year. It also has the 1178 steel Z/28 crank in it. My problem is this - The engine pad ONLY displays this: C15408U.

   12 Φεβ 2012 · The car ran great one day, then sat for a few weeks. When it was started, it immediately idled rough and ran like crap. It was running extremely rich (black smoke). Gave codes 43 & 53. I changed the ignition module...no change. So today I changed the knock sensor (code 43) and reset the computer.
