Science requires the testing of explanations of the natural world against nature itself and the discarding of those explanations that do not work. What distinguishes science from other ways of knowing is its reliance upon the natural world as the arbiter of truth.
Evolutionary creation claims that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit created the universe and life through an ordained, sustained, and design-reflecting evolutionary process. This view of origins fully embraces both the religious beliefs of biblical Christianity and the scientific theories of cosmological, geological, and biological evo-lution.
With this, there are two fundamental questions which this paper seeks to answer: How do we reconcile Darwin’s theory of Evolution with the belief in God as creator as narrated in Genesis creation accounts? Do the Creation accounts in Genesis and the theory of evolution contradict each other?
