30 Νοε 2021 · Inspired by what might possibly be the greatest guitar solo ever, from arguably the best guitarist that ever lived, Crowned Heads offered up the Crowned Heads Court Reserve Serie E. Yes, that’s right, the Serie E is a tribute to the solo “Eruption” by the one and only Eddie Van Halen.
11 Νοε 2021 · In June, Crowned Heads announced its newest addition to the list of musically-inspired creations named CHC Serie E —the CHC in the name is short for Crowned Heads Court while the E is short for Eruption —as a followup to its Court Reserve XVIII line.
The Serie E (the “E” stands for Eruption) is an imposing stick with a dark Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper that telegraphs its explosive complexity of flavors. The wrapper is accompanied by a compilation of premium leaves from some of the best tobacco growing regions in Nicaragua.
20 Δεκ 2021 · If you’re a fan of Nicaraguan pepper tongue, then the Crowned Heads CHC Serie E 5150 is for you. I didn’t find the flavor profile very enjoyable and the burn issues just compounded the lack of enjoyment.
Packed full of flavor with strong notes of spice, Serie E is a bold sequel, of sorts, to Crowned Heads 2020 release of Mil Días — Huber describing it as the knock-out punch to the left jab that is Mil Días, the thunder to Mil Días' lightning.
3 Σεπ 2021 · Getting away from the obvious musical inspiration that the Serie E draws upon, the 5150 (a great nod to one of my favorite Van Halen albums of all time) is a cigar that will leave you wanting more. This was in my top 5 most anticipated cigars I smoked at the 2021 PCA Trade Show for a reason.
Cloaked in a dark caramel, well-marbled Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, secured over a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and all-Nicaraguan fillers, let’s see if this cigar gave me a flavor eruption in our Crowned Heads CHC Serie E review.
