CRYING SUNS is a rogue-lite and tactical game where you explore a dying galaxy as the admiral of a space fleet. As a deep, story-driven game experience, each successful run will uncover a part of the underlying truth about the fall of the Galactic Empire.
I wouldn't classify Crying Suns very high on the spectrum of roguelite difficulty, especially for people familiar with RTS games. I didn't die until the last sector of the last chapter after going down a trail of bad luck and bad decisions - which is indicative of a way a lot of roguelites get you.

20 Σεπ 2022 · So, in essence, Crying Suns is a very much a game of risks. There is a chance you will succeed in any given action, a chance the store has the one upgrade or ship you need, a chance you will obtain enough fuel to continue forward. This was reflected in the end game choices as well.

At the end of Chapter 5, after conversing with the emperor, we are given the option to kill the emperor on his throne or to not kill the emperor on his throne. Having chosen to kill him, after he asks to die and for us to consider it a mercy killing, he simply dies.
