12 Σεπ 2010 · Personally, I think “outline” makes slightly more sense than “stroke”, unless the stroke is beefed up to allow you to specify an inner or outer stroke. If that’s the case, it would be cool for that to be applied to block-level elements as well.
29 Οκτ 2014 · The -webkit-text-stroke doesn't support placing the stroke on the outside of the text. as this CSS-Tricks article explains: The stroke drawn by text-stroke is aligned to the center of the text shape (as is the default in Adobe Illustrator), and there is currently no option to set the alignment to the inside or outside of the shape.

This property is only supported by WebKit-based browsers, and for you to use it, you must add the -webkit- prefix. 30 Ιουλ 2020 · The CSS code that actually controls the color and width of the text stroke or the text outline are the 2 CSS properties stroke and stroke-width. Please note that these properties will only work on SVG elements and NOT on HTML elements.
3 Σεπ 2020 · There is -webkit-text-stroke in CSS for it, but it places that stroke in the middle of the vector outline of the characters, absolutely ensuring that the character doesn’t look right. Just look at this in Chrome or Safari.
