21 Δεκ 2022 · What I want is that the "Red box" stay on top of the page in a z-index 2, while the all the content on the background stay on index 1 but somehow this code is "collapsing" the layers. If someone can help me I really appreciate it.
25 Απρ 2019 · All the elements have their position set, and the side tab has a z-index of 5, which positions it on top of the content element, which is at z-index: 1. Then, the modal has z-index: 100 which should put it on top of the side tab at z-index: 5 .
4 Σεπ 2021 · The Problem with Keeping Track of Z-Indexes. Z-index is a relative CSS property. It has no unit of measurement, other than the other z-indexes in the project. Those other values are usually spread all over the project, which leads to interesting phenomenons.
12 Αυγ 2013 · For now the best solution that I’ve found is to hide the menu button when the scrolling starts (using the touchmove event with a debounce function), and show it again when it stops (using the scroll event).
20 Σεπ 2022 · Without any z-index value, elements stack in the order that they appear in the DOM (the lowest one down at the same hierarchy level appears on top). Elements with non-static positioning will always appear on top of elements with default static positioning.
